Alistun (6.detsember 2011)

Tammid katki, veed valla.
Las jutt jookseb
nagu vihm talvel.
Tühjal ja mudasel kõnnumaal.

Põlvitan siin.
Kas soovid, alistun?
Alistun ja ei kakle?
Te kurjus on te pehmus..

Kuid ka siin on mul väärikus.
Valetan, luban, tõotan..
Lõuend tuhandele tundmusele..
Siiber ja segadus.

Ma küsin rahu.
Ei palu, ei anu,
Ei lahmi ega laamenda.
Ei võimalda seda meel.

Nagu vihm talvel,
tühjal ja mudasel kõnnumaal..
Ma jään siia,
kuid mitte ainult vaatlejaks.

The City of Light (7.august 2012)

Night falls on this city of light.
Lamp after lamp dims in respect,
in respect to our thoughts, out of sight.
It swallows hope from deep within.
What will remain of of our glory?
What will remain of our city?
Our plight..

Close your eyes and turn your back.
Let this happen,
Let this happen and never regret.
Surrender to this dreamless sleep and flow.
Night after night after night..
Why didn't you choose life,
Why didn't you choose to fight the rising tide?

The city burns as our thoughts catch fire,
Her body shines as she loses touch.
Night falls and everything fades to black,
Tell me, what will remain of this..
For fear it will be gone when I wake,
gone without memory it ever existed at all.
Tell me, if you can.

Night falls on this city of light.
Only candles illuminate the way to eternal bliss,
Our thoughts laid bare before our eyes..
To bursting it fills every soul.
We want our glory.
I want this city to burn.
Let there be freedom.

Seduction (6.juuli 2012)

Lying here in our passion's wake,
Sublime and good to taste,
Entranced, entangled,
Spellbound by sweeter dangers.

Knowing what's at stake,
All the more enticing by taste.
Reputations, emotions,
Learn the price of expectations.

Love, my dear,
is beyond us mortals.
Such arrogance we emit,
when we believe to have conquered it.
Changing companions for lack of a fit,
when it might be ourselves who need to be fixed.

Like fine wine they pass my lips,
Words picked with utmost care,
From the garden of seduction,
To capture unassuming souls.

Perhaps more often that not,
We play games to see how far,
How far we get before we're caught,
In the velvet grasp of flattery.

And in this hour of recognition,
Like a phoenix, I've met my demise.
The fire will consume all.
Spellbound by sweeter dangers still.
